PRODUCT WE USE

Our Guarantee is very simple…

“A man is only as good as his tools” may have been written over a century ago, but its meaning still rings true until today. That is why here at Pipereliningnorthshore.com.au we always make sure to get the best products possible. All our products come from RSM LINING SUPPLIES, which is one of the largest Pipe Relining Supply companies in the world, and is based in the UK, the USA, Canada, and Australia.

What we like most about RSM is that they are not just a simple manufacturer; they are industry experts who strive for perfection, and lead the research and development for better pipe relining materials, tools and products.

RSM continues to supply Pipereliningnorthshore.com.au with a wide array of relining products because we believe there are no two relining projects that are exactly alike. We never use a formula or fixed methods that cannot be altered in any way. Each customer has his or her own Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) necessities that we need to fulfill and we ensure that we tailor our methods for them.

Because every job is unique, we never fail to conduct CCTV pipe inspections to check the extent and the severity of the pipe problem. After we are able to see what is wrong inside, we will be able to come up with a viable plan to solve your plumbing problems once and for all.

RSM LINING SUPPLIES PRODUCTS ARE SOURCED FROM EUROPE AND THE USA.

Liner and fibreglass comes from the best and largest manufacturers in the world based in either Germany, The UK or USA.

Resin comes from the most highly regarded suppliers in Germany, France & The UK.

Some of these brands have been around since the 70’s, so you can rest assured that the products are tested and proven. Which is what allows us to confidently offer a life time guarantee.

WHY ARE SOME RESIN BRANDS DIFFERENT COLOURS?

One of the myths about resin is that each colour has its own qualities and uses. However, that is pretty far from the truth. I suggest that you conduct your own research about resin colours, and do not simply believe what a company is telling you. You will be surprised how some companies are willing to go along the dishonesty road just to win your approval, and eventually the job.

If you notice that some resins come in different colours, that does not necessarily mean they possess different qualities right away, or they were manufactured in a particular country. Actually, as far as pipe relining resins are concerned, 99.9% of them come from Europe, especially France, the UK, and Germany. So if colours do not mean anything, what are they for?

Colours are solely used for branding, and it depends on the manufacturer what colour it wanted to use.

Common resin colours that are commercially available include Blue, Orange, Red, Green, White, Black and Yellow. Again, these colours do not mean anything aside from their branding.

While you are here, it is also important to be familiar with the different types of resin for pipe relining. RSM Lining Supplies supply us with five kinds of resin, and each one has its own qualities and uses:

  • Polyester – This resin is the most commonly used material for pipe relining because of its versatility, and it is also flexible to work with for plumbers. When properly cured, polyester resin can exhibit some mechanical properties.
  • Epoxy – This kind of resin creates a leak tight liner that provides durability, and it comes with different cure times. It is also styrene free so it can be a good option for certain customers.
  • Vinylester – This type of resin has low viscosity, yet it forms a strong bond with the base material. It can easily cure at room temperature, and has good fibre impregnability.
  • Eco Hybrid – This resin is slightly similar to the previous kind, but it was manufactured using zero styrene. This is the best choice for clients who prefer environment-friendly substances.
  • Silicate – This kind of resin is similar to polyester in some of its qualities, but it is used for shorter liners. So while polyester is the go-to material for most pipe relining procedures, silicate can be a good alternative for shorter length liners, and even point repairs.

Here at Pipereliningnorthshore.com.au, we always BLUE MAGIC for our procedures because of its strength and ability to create leak proof seals on different threaded materials, from metal to polycarbonate. RSM also supplies us this product, although its main manufacturer’s headquarters is in France.
